Child Portraits:: Tréson and Avery

One of my dearest friends [also my stylist for almost 10 years], Michelle, has two beautiful kids. Tréson just started third grade this week and Miss Avery is two years old. I’ve always seen pictures of the kids, but never met them in person. Imagine my thrill when Michelle asked if I would photograph them!

They live in Bryan, TX so the easiest way for us to work out a place to take photos was for me to drive there. I met Michelle this past Monday and we went to Research Park in College Station. It’s near [probably technically on] the Texas A&M campus. Of course, when we met the thunder and lightening start rolling in. Michelle and I looked at each other questioningly, but decided we’d go as quickly as possible and work with it. In most of the pictures, you’ll notice Tréson and Avery looking at something – we followed the ducks around the pond. It seems as though they too wanted to find shelter. Our entire shoot took us approximately 30-40 minutes before the rain really let loose. Michelle also said that her favorite photos are black and white. She has a vision for something in mind, so you’ll notice that every one of her photos is in black and white.

Before I share their photos, I’d like to share Michelle’s work information if you’re in the market for a fantastic stylist. She works here:

Michelle Dyess - Magan… OMG, those pictures are absolutely amazing. I want to thank you again for coming and taking time out of your busy day to do this for us, it was greatly appreciated.
I also want to thank you for the awesome write-up about me. I can't wait to start doing your hair again so we can catch-up on everything. :-)
Much Appreciated,
Michelle Dyess
