Dustyn and I have wonderful friends who were married just two months before we were. Dustyn attended college and had most of his classes with I (the Dad). Before our weddings, Dustyn introduced me to I and M. Very quickly, M and I (referring to me, not her husband) forged a friendship that turned into 6:00AM workouts on campus, running, talking, and doing homework together while sitting in the Student Union. When M graduated, campus felt a lot emptier without her presence.
Since our meeting almost six years ago, I and M have had two beautiful little girls, E and S. This session was to capture the perfect little picture of S to go on her birthday invitation, as she’s turning two years old very soon. I adore these girls. They have beautiful hearts, are so sweet and kind, and have wonderful imaginations that keep them playing for hours. S and E are very close in age, and they are the very best of friends. Their friendship is so precious. Enjoy these photos – I just let them play, see-saw, swing, and slide. My goal was to be unobtrusive, and to ask them inquisitive questions to make them smile or loosen up around me. Luckily, they love my little dog Camy, so she was a great conversational piece.
This is Miss E. Isn’t she beautiful?

E and S played on the See-Saw together for a while. E showed me her UT Horns!

And this, my friends, is Miss S. The photo on the right is her “smile” when you ask her to smile for you.

S is an awesome slider. She demonstrated her skills for me.![]()

On the pictures below, I used a new action, the TRA Lux (hard). What do you think?

Look at those baby blues on the right!

I love facial reactions when children are telling stories.

S and E both had little bracelets and necklaces. You can see E’s necklace in one of the upper photos. S had several multi-colored bracelets. I remember playing with those too when I was little.

A little play on focus as the girls were see-sawing.

M and I, thank you for letting me spend time with the girls. They are so beautiful and make me smile.
