Part of being a photographer is creating visual memories. Reminders of what was good. What was great. How life was once upon a time. Part of being a reader of my particular photography blog is that I share about me. About my life. My family. Photography is a very personal experience, therefore, I think it’s essential that you get to know me too.
You’ve seen a lot of Dentyn this year. He’s my brother-in-law and recently graduated from High School. He’s from a small town and graduations are done much differently there. There were 113 people in his class, and every single one of those people was included in a 14 minute musical slide show that celebrated the class and their achievements. It was a small, memorable act that made every student feel like she had been an essential part to the whole. Here are a few images from the ceremony.

The very next day, we had a Graduation Party for Dentyn at his Uncle Ronnie and Aunt Sandra’s awesome pool. The day was incredibly beautiful – not too hot, not too bright. I had so much fun catching these moments…

Valla Blasig - These are really great! Thanks so much for taking them. I love seeing our boys all grown up, but yet the “kid” still comes out in them. I think you can tell, they had just a little bit of fun. It was a wonderful graduation and party, just kinda sad for Mom and Dad…
thanks Magan for making this special for us!
love, Valla
