Drum roll, please….
Meet Lily, Connor, and Quinn.
They are ninth generation Texans on one side of their family and eighth generation on the other side. One of their great great grandfathers was one of the first Texas Aggies back in 1899. These three have lived in Austin all their lives, but had never had a South Congress photo session done.
After Christmas, Lily contacted me about wanting to do something a little extra for their Mom while they were all home. They wanted a fun, relaxed photography session on South Congress to surprise their Mom with. Lily and Connor live out-of-state and Quinn is following the family tradition and earning his degree from Texas A&M. Having all the siblings together was kind of a big deal. As I’ve mentioned before, I kind of LOVE adult sibling sessions. I jumped at the chance to meet them.
The day of our session – maybe I should say week of our session – it was dreary, grey, there were threats of rain showers and thunder storms. Since their time was almost up being together in Austin, there really was not a chance to reschedule. We braved the weather and headed out anyway. Thankfully the weather never got too terrible for us.

Connor is the BEST at making silly, fun expressions. A whole film strip could be made with all his expressions; Lily and Quinn tried to see if they could make as many…

Hands down one of my favorite images from the day… just fun, natural, impromptu…

I’ve never used the Jo’s Coffee “I Love You So Much” wall before. I think this was the perfect way to end our session. I’m hoping their Mom is going to love these.

Lily, Connor, and Quinn – thanks for spending time with me and letting me photograph your family. I had an absolute blast laughing and hanging out with you guys. Favorite moment of the day? Sitting down to get to know you even better over a cup of coffee on a cold day. Thank you so much for being awesome.
